About Chris: Chris Uiterwyk is the founder and chief executive officer of IPConfigure, Inc., a privately owned software development company he founded because he saw an opportunity to develop IT centric video surveillance applications. With more than 26 years of experience in the technology industry, Mr. Uiterwyk lead IPConfigure from a bootstrapped startup to the multi-million dollar company it is today. Combining fiscal restraint with an eye for talent, Mr. Uiterwyk has a reputation of winning by leveraging every resource at his disposal to position IPConfigure as a leading video management software company.
Mr. Uiterwyk grew up in Florida on a horse farm and served in the United States Navy as a helicopter Special Operations Crew Chief and Rescue Swimmer. Mr. Uiterwyk earned his bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University, and he currently resides in Virginia with his wife and three children.
