About Jeff: Jeff Conroy is the CEO of Embody, a Norfolk-based sports medicine company developing collagen-based surgical implants to treat tendon and ligament injuries. Over the past 7 years, Embody has been awarded more than $24 million in funding from DARPA and AFWERX while also raising more than $30 million from investors. Embody has completed over 1,100 patient surgeries and created more than 50 jobs. Jeff has had a long career in the life sciences as both an entrepreneur and licensing executive.
