About Tim: Timothy J. Stromberg, PLA, CBLP, ASLA is a principal at InfraSGA, Inc., a Norfolk-based green infrastructure product development company. His entrepreneurial work focuses on the importance of design which integrates blue/green stormwater strategies, mitigating the growing issues regarding the management of stormwater runoff and its impact on communities at large. The patent pending RAFT urban bio-retention system provides a scalable solution to stormwater management in our ever-changing modern built environment and is an award recipient of the 2019 RISE Coastal Community Resilience Challenge and the 2022 RISE Urban Coastal Community Resilience Challenge. As a founder of several successful niche businesses, such as Stromberg, Garrigan & Associates, Inc, (SGA), that are focused on responding to the rapidly growing need to cost-effectively solve our community’s most arduous environmental and economic challenges, Timothy is constantly working at the cutting edge of technology, design, and resiliency as an award-winning landscape architect and green industry leader. His recent design work in Hampton Roads includes the Elizabeth River/Harbor Park Water Street Open Space, the St. Paul’s Blue Greenway Park, the Elizabeth River Project – Ryan Resilience Lab and Learning Park, and the Chrysler Museum Perry Glass House climate adaptation site design.
