Newport News Purchasing Office will host a Reverse Vendor Fair for small businesses interested in providing goods and services to the city, public schools, and housing authority.
This event provides a unique opportunity for local and regional vendors to directly engage with city procurement personnel. Vendors will have the opportunity to market goods and services, share capability statements, vendor registration processes, and learn of upcoming procurement opportunities directly from those representatives who ultimately make purchasing decisions on behalf of their specific City Government agencies.
This event is targeted at community businesses, with an emphasis on minority-owned, women-owned, and emerging businesses. Representatives from the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity will be onsite to conduct workshops and answer questions.
