Along with a birthday celebration fit for royalty, our quarterly fundraiser is this month!
We are raising money for All VB Reads, a reading program that will impact all 33,000 K-5th graders in Virginia Beach Public Schools!
We are giving two books per year to every elementary schooler in Virginia Beach City Public Schools and encouraging them to read at home with their families. For many, this will be the first book they’ve ever owned! The program instills a love for reading and shows improved literacy scores while bringing families closer together and providing an opportunity for the community to get involved in shaping our future generations. Because everyone in the school district is reading the same book, the kids are eager to read the book, and it’s not framed as an assignment!
For $11/child for two books per year, we can’t help but not make the investment!
