Take a laser cutter class with Cristina on the new Glowforge Pro
Take a laser cutter class on the new Glowforge Pro! In this two-hour-long class attendees will go over how to create a design from start to finish, beginning with the design of the vector graphic, how to use the software on the Glowforge, and how to cut using different settings with a focus on safety training. Students should bring their own laptops if they have them with Inkscape pre-downloaded. (Inkscape is a free vector program!) Students will leave with a fun project.
After this class, attendees will be signed off as Certified to use the Glowforge on their own at the Makerspace (if they are a member).
When: Sunday, Jan. 7 from 1-3 pm at the Norfolk Makerspace location.
$30 for members, $45 for non-members (Materials included)
