The new format will consist of a local startup company sharing their journey for 15 minutes, 15 minutes hearing from a partner about their programming or opportunities for entrepreneurs, and the remaining 45 minutes will be spent in a workshop providing tactical tips and information related to the month’s theme.
April’s event will focus on life saving tech and we will hear from a startup company working to address a problem of severe blood loss, learn about opportunities at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), and the VCU Innovation Gateway will lead a workshop on licensing IP from universities to further support commercialization of university technology.
