Office in Virginia Beach Town Center expands company’s footprint in Hampton Roads
Virginia Beach, Va. (July 27, 2020) – Gather Virginia Beach, the third Gather coworking location in the Hampton Roads region, will open its doors on Wednesday, July 29. The location occupies over 28,000 square feet on the third floor of block 3 in Town Center of Virginia Beach at Independence Boulevard and Central Park Avenue.
With offices in Newport News and Norfolk, as well as three (soon to be four) in the metro Richmond area, Gather is leading the successful growth of professional coworking and private office spaces across the Commonwealth. Each Gather location reflects the personality of its specific environment, and Gather Virginia Beach features a modern, stylish design with a fun, welcoming vibe befitting a workplace that is just a short drive away from the oceanfront.
“We’re excited to bring our private office and community workspace to Virginia Beach and to continue deepening our presence in the 757 region,” said James Crenshaw, an owner of Gather. “Our members have 24/7 access to all six of our locations in Virginia, which is a unique benefit at Gather. We take care of everything related to running an office so that members can fully focus on what they do best – growing their business and being successful.”
Crenshaw noted that businesses in Hampton Roads are still in the process of reopening from the pandemic. “Employers must provide a safe environment in which to work and many businesses will need to de-densify shared bullpen-style offices to enable social distancing during work hours,” he said. “Gather Virginia Beach is a great solution with 145 private offices as well as suites and larger offices that allow for physical spacing between individuals working together in small teams. All of these office options can be rented on a month-to-month basis, which offers maximum flexibility compared to traditional real estate contracts.”
In addition to the variety of office sizes, Gather Virginia Beach features a range of conference rooms and meeting spaces. The kitchen is stocked with locally-roasted coffee and tea from local roaster Town Center Cold Pressed, and members will enjoy professional and socially-distanced events including the ever-popular Wednesday Cookie Hour with fresh-baked goodies. The location features ample parking and easy walkability to a wide variety of shopping and dining options.
Savannah Bolin, a native of the Hampton Roads region, is the Regional Director of Gather’s locations in Hampton Roads. Community managers have been hired to run the Virginia Beach office, providing concierge-style services to members on a daily basis and ensuring that COVID guidelines and safety measures are strictly followed.
Currently, Gather has more than 900 combined members in Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Richmond covering a wide span of industries. Members range from individual freelancers to small businesses and larger, international enterprises that have selected Gather for their local outposts.
