Since September 2024, patients in participating Sentara hospitals and outpatient centers have had access to a curated selection of digital entertainment—right at their fingertips.
Magazine Jukebox’s innovative platform offers Sentara patients and visitors a wide array of engaging content, ranging from popular magazines and games to trivia, all available through a simple QR code scan. This collaboration aims to alleviate the often stressful nature of healthcare visits, ensuring patients and family members are entertained and comforted from check-in through discharge. Currently available in 12 Sentara locations across Virginia and North Carolina, the entertainment hub has already seen impressive user engagement since its launch.
