Create your own outlandish leather-based mask perfect for regency balls and cosplay pursuits!
In this two-day workshop, explore techniques for sculpted leather-working to create intricate mask designs for your next masquerade ball! Beginners are welcome! Participants are encouraged to think of a theme or idea of the type of mask they hope to create.
3/2 Drafting & Sculpting- Participants will learn how to draft designs for their unique mask concept, to create their unique pattern, and wet sculpt leather.
3/3 Surface Design – Participants will be provided leather paints and additional findings (feathers, gems, fabric accessories etc) to decorate their custom masks. They will be provided ribbon and rivets (with instruction) to make the mask wearable!
