TechArk Solutions to invest in its Norfolk headquarters and create new jobs

NORFOLK, VA – The Norfolk Department of Economic Development announced today that TechArk Solutions plans to expand its Norfolk-based headquarters. TechArk will invest over $100,000 to improve its present facility located within the Norfolk Innovation Corridor (NIC) – a Technology Zone – and create eight new high-tech, high-wage jobs in Norfolk. TechArk was recently included in the annual Inc. 5000 list, a prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing companies in the country.

The Norfolk Innovation Corridor is a public-private partnership with the Greater Norfolk Corporation, the City of Norfolk, and the Norfolk business community. The NIC recently received recognition from the International Economic Development Council for its support of technology businesses in Norfolk. Under state law, the City of Norfolk opted to designate the NIC as a “Technology Zone,” enabling businesses to receive tax relief for qualifying investments and job creation within the zone, in addition to benefiting from the densely clustered assets and talent readily available within the corridor.
