Governor Glenn Youngkin has appointed Paul Nolde, Managing Director of 757 Collab and Executive Director of 757 Angels, to the Virginia Biotechnology Research Partnership Authority.
With over two decades in banking, finance, and venture capital, Nolde has been instrumental in advancing Virginia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. At 757 Collab, he oversees initiatives such as 757 Startup Studios, 757 Accelerate, 757 Angels, and 757 Innovation Partnerships, all dedicated to supporting startups from conception to seed stage.
Nolde’s leadership extends to several boards, including Innovate Hampton Roads, where he contributes to fostering innovation and technology growth in the region.
The Virginia Biotechnology Research Partnership Authority, known as Activation Capital, focuses on promoting scientific research and economic development in the state’s biotechnology sector. Nolde’s appointment is expected to enhance collaboration between entrepreneurial initiatives and the biotechnology industry, driving innovation and economic growth in Virginia.
