Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin recently announced that six Hampton Roads companies have made significant strides in international business by joining or graduating from the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. This initiative by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) aims to bolster local businesses by providing essential resources for global market expansion.

IPConfigure, Inc. from Norfolk, and Packet Forensics, LLC from Virginia Beach are among the latest VALET graduates. Their successful completion of the two-year program signifies their readiness to capitalize on international opportunities, enhance their market reach, and contribute to the economic vitality of Hampton Roads.

New participants from Hampton Roads include Catalytic Generators (Norfolk), iMedical Healthcare Solutions(Virginia Beach), Matheny Motor Truck Co (Chesapeake), and Vectrona, LLC (Virginia Beach). These companies will receive comprehensive support through VALET’s offerings, including international sales plan development, market research, and connections with potential global partners.

The inclusion of these companies in VALET reflects the robust and innovative spirit of the Hampton Roads business community. As these businesses venture into the global marketplace, they are expanding their horizons and reinforcing the region’s economic infrastructure.

VEDP’s VALET program has a proven track record, supporting hundreds of Virginia companies in achieving international growth. VALET plays a crucial role in driving the Commonwealth’s economy forward by facilitating access to international markets.
