In an exciting development for the entrepreneurial spirit, the Dominion Energy Innovation Center (DEIC) has announced the Center Street Pitch Competition, offering local entrepreneurs the chance to showcase their innovative ideas and vie for $20,000 in prizes. This unique competition is designed to support new startups, business expansions, and agricultural and forestry ventures within our vibrant community. Each category winner will receive $5,000 in cash along with a year-long membership to DEIC, fostering an environment where small businesses and diverse entrepreneurs can thrive. The competition is a collaborative effort with the Downtown Ashland Association, highlighting the commitment of both organizations to nurturing entrepreneurship in Hampton Roads.
