The City of Norfolk’s Department of Economic Development and the Economic Development Authority (EDA) has relaunched the Norfolk Small Business Technical Assistance Clinic!

The EDA received a grant from the Rockefeller Opportunity Collective (ROC) to provide direct support to Black and Latinx microbusinesses (5 or fewer employees) in Norfolk. Areas of support include Business Consulting, Accounting, Website Development & E-Commerce, and Branding & Marketing. Each business is eligible for up to $4000 in professional services.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Current City of Norfolk business license
  • Black or Latinx ownership
  • Five or fewer employees (entrepreneur included)
  • A brief statement of their need for support
